Frequently Asked Questions
Frequently
Asked Questions
Can I start on Vence and move to an operator?
Yes. Same X account, same logs, same voice file. Vence is the start-today path. An operator is when you want a person owning the week. You don’t rebuild the workspace.
Does Vence post by itself?
Only if you turn auto-post on. You set this per type - tweets, replies, threads. Auto - Vence posts You review - it sits in your queue Directly reviews - a human expert on our side checks it first (same credit cost again) Some items stay in review even on auto: quote tweets, sales-looking replies, anything that looks like a real customer. You can change this later.
Do I have to use Slack?
No. Dump in the web app, Slack, or Telegram. Same thread, same Vence. Slack is there so you don’t have to open another tab. The app is still the record.
What if I don’t dump anything?
Vence still runs. It posts from the calendar and replies in the accounts you watch. That’s how a quiet week doesn’t go silent. Dumps are how it stays yours - the call, the take, the thing you almost posted. Without them it will sound like your last tweets, which is often already flat. Use it either way. Better with dumps.
What is a human review?
A person from Directly’s review pool reads the draft before it posts. They can edit it and send it, or kill it. Optional. Turn it on for everything, or only for some things - tweets on auto, replies and quote tweets through review. Change it later. The write fee hits when the draft is made. If you reject it, that fee stays - you still have the text. If our reviewer rejects it and nothing posts, the write fee comes back. The review fee stays; someone read it.
